Owner
Barry Crivello, CPA
Barry has been in public practice for over 40 years and opened Barry B. Crivello, MBA, CPA in October of 1996. He attended the University of Arizona and holds a BA in Business Economics and received his MBA in Taxation from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA. Barry is a Chartered Global Management Accountant and has also taught taxation at the University of Hawaii, Hilo and was involved in developing the curriculum for the Graduate Accounting Program for the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Barry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and holds licenses and permits to practice in Hawaii and Oregon. Barry is a Paul Harris Fellow, Past President of the Friends of the Children’s Justice Center and has served on the boards of many Charitable Organizations and Civic Groups.

Jared Crivello, CPA
Jared grew up around taxes, helping in the office with tasks like filing and data entry. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in 2012. He became a licensed CPA in the state of Hawaii in 2015 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Big Data Analysis at the Warsaw School of Economics in 2020. Jared worked with PwC Poland on several projects involving large banks in Europe and the Middle East. Jared is an active Rotarian and served as the Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Warsaw - Wilanów for 3 years.

Layla Lonokapu
Layla attended University of Arizona, University of Hawaii and graduated from University of Phoenix with a BS in Business Management. She has worked with Barry B. Crivello MBA, CPA, LLC since 1998. Layla is a seasoned accountant with over 25 years of experience in corporate & partnership bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation. Her commitment to providing personalized, high-quality service to each of her clients has helped her build strong, long-lasting relationships with them.
Office Manager
Valerie Crivello
Valerie has been the office manager since 2000. She has held her Hawaii real estate license and was a property manager and worked in restaurants prior to joining the firm full time. Valerie loves interacting with the clients and considers them like family.
Office Mascot
Odin
Odin loves to greet clients who visit the office and boost moral within the office. He enjoys jerky treats and long walks on the beach.
